So, I'm pecking away on a MacBook Pro with a 100gig hard-drive and an extra 500gigs on an external drive. No big deal by today's standards. Eight years ago, my partner and I spent thousands of dollars for a big fat array of hard drives with blinking lights and loud fans that held a whopping 30gigs.

If the computer industry was like the automobile industry, perhaps there'd be a new version of "Pong" in the works.

If the auto industry was like the computer industry, Hummers would get better than 100mpg.

Why are great technical leaps standard in computers and not in cars?

Oil. Maybe we're being scammed. How about that big tax break for people who buy vehicles that weigh over 6,000 pounds? How'd that one slip through?
