Are you at the corner? If so then we're
neighbors. I work at the domino's pizza downstairs. Always
see the white pathfinder, but forget to check out that URL. I
finally remembered once I got home and thought your web site was
very amusing. It was especially amusing reading SUV owners
defending themselves and their need to drive a 3-ton vehicle as a
daily commute. I should put your stickers on my jet skiis. Argh
so my watertoys are gas pigs for the few times a year that I use
them, but at least I can tow them around in my little Saturn.
Keep up the good work with your web site!
Ed
hi Ed:
thanks for the email! hey man, if you want stickers for the jet
skis just say the word. i've got no beef with hobbies - i ride
the real gaspigs to altitude quite a bit. oil powers things -
that's today's tech. the problem is that gas guzzlers have found
their way into the standard family package - a continuous
gigantic smog machine is the end result with millions of these
trucks on the road day and night. good to meet you today! if you
want a window sticker for your delivery vehicle - that would be
too cool! i'll throw in a dvd. i've also got 30mpg.com and
40mpg.com stickers so it wouldn't have to be gaspig.com. a pizza
delivery mobile with a sticker would be the bomb! (but don't
worry if you don't want to do that - i totally understand that a
lot of people don't like stickers on their cars). thanks again
for the positive feedback!
all the best,
joe

Hi,
Dont know if you know about this car
(called SMART), but its a 2 seater car, that eats around 5
liters per 100km and can very comfortably fit two people plus
their holiday shopping, or golf bags, or weekend packing (and if
you are pushing it, 2 of the aforementioned). It is only 2.5
meters long and can be parked perpendicular to the curb without
obstructing traffic! Its available as a convertible, and if you
really want you can even put 2xBikes or some ski's on the back of
the car! Its now recently been made available as a roadster too,
a bit longer, but alot more sporty. Its a perfect city car and
useful for shorter trips to the country. Its owned by
DaimlerChrysler and manufactured in France. Check it out, I am
going through my second already in sweden and i think when its
made available in the US it will be a great addition to crowded
city streets. I heard DaimlerChrysler is working on getting them
to the US now. www.smart.com I can send you some reallife pics if
you want.
hi Dmitri:
yeah... i've seen pictures of the smart car - but if you have
some, i'd love to see them. for now, can i send you a bumper
sticker?? all the best,
joe
the Pig
Hi,
Here are some pics of my first smart, my new one is a bit more
discreet,i.e black with stripes rather then alien green ;) The
pics include exterior and interrior shots, plus a shot relative
to humans, and the door-* series shows how the smart is built up.
The green parts of the car are all in a special plastic which can
be removed and replaced with a different color, if you get bored
of it, or in case of an accident you can replace the damaged
panel. Replacing all panels takes
about an hour and one part costs about 150 US Dollars (for this
color, cheaper standard colors are about 50 dollars per piece).
You can even change them yourself, i've done it a few times. The
1st Edition pics show a luxury version of the smart which shows
that
the smart can look luxury and mean. The smart's default interrior
isnt bad either, but if you want more, there are options. It is
also a cabriolet. The gallery* pics show the new roadster. If you
have any questions feel free to ask! :) And sure you can send me
a bumper sticker. I'd prefer a 2 small seethru ones so I can put
them on the rear window.
Best Regards,
Dmitri
Dmitri:
sorry for the delay sending you stickers - i haven't forgotten
you. i sent out a few hundred stickers last week and haven't
gotten to the international requests - mostly cause they're
expensive to send. but i'll get them off to you. it may just take
a little while. all the best!
joe
Ok no problem :)
Best Regards,
Dmitri

Hi Gaspig
Good to see someone in the states has come to their senses. I
quite like these comments below but feel they should be the main
part of your page rather than a little trifle in the corner. I
drive a Fiat Punto 1.2ltr petrol which manages around 35 mpg
mixed
driving. This is the family car, five of us.... Keep up the good
work lets hope a it makes a difference.

hi Derek:
thanks for the feedback! i like those statements too - will try
to get them more front and center... want a sticker for that
fiat?

Hi "The Pig"
I have to come clean, pardon the pun but I have just come back
from 2 years in Canada where I had a 3.8ltr Ford Windstar. I was
expecting alot of visitors form the UK but none seemed keen on
traveling so it was a waste of environment etc. Strangely it cost
as much to run per week as the Fiat eventhough the Gas prices in
Canada were at least half that of the UK. I did cycle to work a
lot in the summer though.
Derek
hey Derek
cycling is good - add seven hail marys and things will be good at
the pearly gates. :-) i think they've got it right in the uk -
tax gas big time and watch cars shrink...
all the best
