My 78 dodge lil red express truck gets an dismal 4.5 mpg city 12mpg fwy originally manufactured to blow huge holes in the o-zone while (hence being the last vehicle made without a catalytic converter) also the fastest production vehicle of that year. This rare one of 2200 trucks made was built for a different kind of hauling! It’s a finicky eater in that it will only 91 octane or better. Plus a healthy appetite for 20/50 at about a quart every 450 miles makes me a candidate.
