Hey GASPIG:
I live in So. Cal, near Redondo Beach. I see that white
Pathfinder all the time, and finally I remebered to look up the
site on the internet. I thought it would be just one guy mad at
Nissan, but to find this whole site is rad. I actually just spent
all day at local Toyota dealerships looking for a truck for
camping. I didn't find anything I liked, and now after seeing the
site, I'm glad I didn't settle. I want to
be socially responsible, and I was on the edge of chucking my
civic duty for a truck that got under 20 mpg. I couldn't
reconcile it, though, and seeing none with a higher fuel economy,
left happy with my 89 Corolla with the bike rack. Who
needs a truck anyway; you're right. I've gone all over in my
Corolla, to the tune of 140,000 miles on 22-25 mpg. Could do
better, sure, but could do worse. I'd buy an electric/ hybrid car
if I could afford it. But from now on, I won't second guess my
commitment to ecology.
I'd put a small or medium white GASPIG.COM sticker on my rear
bumper (it's black). I might get called out for
"biting" (copying) the GASPIG Pathfinder since I live
nearby, or be accused of jumping on the bandwagon, but who cares?
Besides, bandwagons are mass transit!
Thanks,
M. Barr
