What a wonderfuly refreshing wedsite - very funny fresh insights
into a very urgent situation - the letters page is a great
(mostly) open minded forum - gaspig don't lose faith in your
positive energy it will spread - it always does - besides just
because some angry SUV owner takes themself too seriously and
comes across all 'GREENER FINGERED THAN THOU' - don't be knocked
- there just trying to deflect the debate - Greenpeace, Friends
of the Earth etc. are doing a great job of educating us on the
effects of deforestation etc. - lets stick to the debate that
gaspig.com is addressing - hey and I don't even live in the USA -
I'm in the UK - gaspigs are global - what does SUV stand - 4?
'Smelly Ugly Vehicle' - maybe 'Shopping Unlimited Vehicle' - what
the hell do I know I'm a pale face'd Brit.
I see alot of 4x4's in the UK - have always thought to myself as
I am doin an extra special average speed of 11mph trying to get
across London to see friends - '.OH - nice shiny wheels on that
4x4' - u know what I'm gettin at - yep whats the f..kin point of
saving the planet if your NOT gonna use it and your 4x4 properly
by bashin it about on the off roady bits running over bunnies -
after all thats what it's been saved 4 - is'nt it ?
- go on get dirty - or give up the big
ugly truck - or do what ever the hell you want - but take
responsibility for your own actions - don't blame some guy
in the Amazon of stealing YOUR AIR - because he chops a tree down
in order to build his home - blame otherz 4 your screw-ups and it
never endz - and those that shout the loudest show the least
potential - I get all this stuff second hand u know - I pollute -
we all do - but why not try a little harder to pollute a little
less each year. Oh shit - I'm taking myself seriously - sorry
folks I forgot - Is SHOPPING AT THE STORE a
SPORT now - maybe it should become an Olympic event - the
4X4 relay -
What's so UN-AMERICAN about wanting to save the AMERICAN LANSCAPE
(by reducing the level of car fumes in the atmosphere) - how else
U gonna live there? Besides this is a global problem.
Maybe you should make car parking space's thinner at the Mall -
anyway if you bought a smaller slicker motor - you could spend
the surplus cash on a killer stereo and tunez - lets face it
drivin without good tunez is a pointless drag and you may as well
not have a car at all. He he.
Hey gaspig great stuff keep developing the website - take it easy

thanks for the great letters. i hope you don't mind my posting
them on gaspig.com - not everyone responds the same way so i'm
always psyched to get feedback like yours. i'm sending off your
stickers today, should be there within a week or so. of course,
if some of your friends want some, just let me know! it'd be
great to have a site in the UK! and also, some of my friends are
handing out gaspig.com stickers - so if you think you'd be into
that, i'd be thrilled. i'm finding a lot of support for the
website in Europe which is cool. here in the US, lots of people
complain they don't want to lose their trucks, so perhaps there
will be good momentum for the site in Europe. thanks for offering
to drive the sticker, i'm sure we'll be in touch more.

i'll plan to send you a bunch of stickers... actually, as far as
the web goes, i could set up a UK page right on the gaspig.com
site - basically, you could email me photos of your adventures
and written updates and i'd post it as instructed. technically
it'd be no problem. how cool would that be? gaspig satellite
bases in different places around the world. now we're thinking
big!
