In checking out your website I was
disappointed that I couldn't get more info about "smart
cars." I think people who are intrigued by your
message may be influenced by your website if it were more
informative.
In shopping for a new car for my growing family, we needed an
newer, larger car. My '91 Honda Civic Hatchback (2 doors), though
I love it to death, ain't gonna cut it. That leads us in our
research to what we are reading are called "mini SUVs"
(Foresters, Outbacks, Honda CRVs). Any one of the wagons we would
love to have, e.g., Volvo v70, VW Passat (one of which you show
on your website as a smart car) are actually more expensive than
the mini SUVs and beyond our pocketbook. I also believe all are
comparable when you look at mileage per gallon. Some more precise
info in this area (i.e., comparing vehicles, or at least being
more specific about what you think constitutes a smart car) would
be helpful and, I think, give your website more integrity. Maybe
even just a link to helpful websites that have comparisons would
do the trick.
Anyway, your website is thought provoking. I just think you need
some stuff in there to help your reader with options.
good point... the photos i posted were
pretty much what i caught on the fly. i didn't really have an
agenda in mind other than to photograph cars that looked smart to
me. i've seen the forester and outback and crvs... and they seem
pretty cool. since most of you're driving is on paved roads,
whichever one is least top heavy would be your safest bet. i've
seen a few other station wagons that look pretty slick by ford
and saturn and others like them that seem reasonably priced. the
bottom line i guess is low payments, saving $$ on gas (good in my
book), and safety. good luck and i'll keep your ideas in mind.
all the best
